NonPrime Retail Loan Officer - Bronx, NY - Bilingual

As a loan officer, you will solicit mortgage loans from referral sources. Those sources include, but are not limited to, Realtors, builders and other networking avenues. In this role you will take complete applications for mortgage loans, including follow-up for documentation required for processing in accordance with corporate policies and procedures. In addition, you will fulfill pre-doc and funding loan conditions in conjunction with the loan processor, develop business network resources for loan referrals, keep all parties to the transaction informed as to status of application, set the Customers' / sources expectations and educate them on the entire mortgage origination process and quote rates to the customers and follow through to ensure the loan is properly locked. You will provide a high level of customer service. In this role you will maintain a minimum funding of 1.2 million per quarter, as well as, maintain and generate a minimum of 10 to 15 applications per month. You will comply with all Federal and State compliance policies and adhere to all HMDA requirements.
REQUIREMENTS


Minimum of two years in the consumer finance or Subprime mortgage banking

Strong Sales and oral skills

PC knowledge a plus

Strong knowledge of federal, state and/or local real estate market.

Must be fluent in spanish
