Mutual Fund Wholesaler

As a Mutual Fund Wholesaler with U.S. Bank, you will:

Make proactive sales presentations via telephone to financial advisors your territory, clearly articulating the economic outlook and First American's product line. Promote how First American Funds can help meet the advisor’s needs.

Partner with your External Wholesaler in increasing sales within your territory, introducing the First American Funds to prospects while building on existing relationships.

Generate leads for external wholesaler by cold calling.

Follow up on wholesaler visits, literature requests, marketing campaigns, and daily sales.

Assist in territory management.

Build a reputation as a sound investment professional with whom financial advisors want to solicit investment advice from.

Operate a CMS in order to keep accurate information on leads, prospects, and current customers.

Prospect utilizing key account lists and database systems.

Travel when deemed appropriate; participate in conference and industry functions
Job Requirements
While we expect that you’ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require:

Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Goal oriented.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Strong phone skills.

Familiarity and ease with PC, including Contact Management Software.

NASD Series 6 and 63 licenses.

Minimum three years experience in the investment arena.

Mutual fund sales experience.
