WFMPS is nationally recognized for its ingenuity and reputation as a leader in the electronics payments industry.We are searching for an Manager of Relationship Management in either Phoenix. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified candidates to continue a successful relationship management career.Responsible for the management and oversight of a team of Merchant Services Relationship Managers who are focused on the servicing, retention and cross selling of bank products to merchants with annual payment card volume of $3mm to $100mm+. Oversees the maximization and retention of the Merchant Services customer portfolio. Duties include: Build and maintain the team servicing, portfolio and ensuring that plans are executed to capture 100% of the customers business. Ensure that portfolio strength is enhanced, profits and that revenue is achieved and maintained for each customer segment. Provide direction and guidance to MCS Relationship Management Mgr in all applicable duties. Partner with Merchant Services Relationship Management team and Wells Fargo Bankers to ensure that attrition from the portfolio is minimized and that strategic goals are met.
Minimum Qualifications
* Minimum Qualifications:4-year college degree in Business or similar field. Must have previous payment card (Acquirer) experience. Must also have a minimum of three years of staff management experience (hiring, leadership, performance management).Experienced anticipating emerging issues and implementing new business solutions, including referring critical issues to the appropriate level of management, and improving efficiency, quality, cost and productivity. Advanced communication and leadership skills including experience building consensus and morale within the business unit, and leading work team effectively to meet operational objectives. Advanced customer relationship management and sales skills including contract negotiating and dealing effectively with corporate customers. Advanced experience in analyzing, evaluating and resolving complex business, customer and personnel problems/issues effectively. Advanced experience in organizing, prioritizing and completing multiple, complex tasks independently in a high volume environment within stringent deadlines. Advanced PC experience (Microsoft Word and Excel). Advanced experience in interacting effectively, confidentially and appropriately with various levels of staff, management and customers.
* Preferred Skills:Advanced experience with managing staff, multiple functions and small projects in a diverse and cooperative team environment within established service levels and deadlines, including the ability to effectively represent the department on task forces/projects as required. Demonstrated experience in leadership, facilitation and development of team members to meet or exceed retention and sales objectives.
