Hovnanian our associates are just as important and we take pride in providing an environment in which our associates love to work and can continue to flourish in their jobs.We are currently seeking several experienced Mortgage Processors to join our team.As a Processor you will be responsible for processing loans within designated builder communities and managing a pipeline of loans. Key functions of the Processor are to collect, follow up, and review required documentation according to guidelines of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and VA to facilitate closing and sale ability of the loan. Other functions include but are not limited to updating files 45-60 prior to closing, preparing the file for final underwriting, pre-closing and evaluating all conditions of approval from the underwriting department. Processors must maintain communication with borrower, builder and assigned team to facilitate high customer service levels.The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
Possess at least two years of mortgage processing experience.
Be detail-oriented.
Execute excellent administrative, communication and organizational skills.
Be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
Have knowledge of and familiarity with real estate and mortgage terminology.
Government loan experience is a plus but not required.
