MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR
DuPont Community Credit Union is currently recruiting for a Full-Time Mortgage
Loan Originator for their NEW Harrisonburg office. This position is responsible for
conducting real estate interviews and processing real estate loans that provide our
membership with information and counseling that matches and meets their needs.
Job duties include but are not limited to obtaining information that will ensure
complete real estate application, submitting and scoring the application, preparing
and providing mortgage disclosures, processing the real estate loan, preparing and
conducting the mortgage loan closings, and attend local real estate/realtor functions.
Communication and implementation of sales and service techniques are imperative
in this position in order to recognize cross-selling opportunities that will enhance
the member’s relationship.
The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, real
estate lending experience, good understanding of secondary market products,
practices and procedures, good organizational and clerical/computer skills and
problem solving ability. They will also have strong communication skills, a thorough
understanding of Credit Union philosophy and courteous and friendly member
relation skills. Spanish Bilingual is preferred but not required.
