We are currently seeking an experienced lender with great communication skills. A professional with knowledge of how to apply and close FSA guaranteed loans, SBA loans as well as a background in residential mortgages. This person will manage $10,000,000.00 of loans currently on the books.

Commercial Lender Position Summary:
Each lender in this position will develop and manage 100 to 125 larger active loan relationships and will also conduct 20 to 22 calls each month on existing and prospective loan customers. On average, 70% of these calls will be to prospective customers, or to existing customers identified as candidates for expanded service levels.

Commercial Lender Job Description:
Responds to referrals from Senior Management and others
Actively participates in new business development program.
Interviews commercial loan applicants.
Structures and analyzes new and renewed loan requests and makes loans within lending authority
Closes loans.
Completes file documentation.
Manages all aspects of an assigned portfolio of loans and relationships.
Monitors compliance with loan policies and appropriate regulations.
Assigns appropriate risk grades to loans and relationships.
Collects past due loans unless assigned to the centralized collectors.
Handles customer service matters and inquiries for lending and non-lending issues.
Sends financial statements to the credit analysts for spreading and analysis.
Monitors and evaluates the performance of direct reports.
Provides informal training and guidance for less experienced lenders.
Participates in community activities and organizations.
Refers appropriate banking opportunities to other departments and personnel.
Cross sells all company products and services.
Willingly accepts and performs all assigned duties and responsibilities.

REQUIREMENTS
Commercial Lender Position Requirements:
College Degree; Business field preferred or equivalent banking experience
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Planning and organization skills and background
Good decision making skills and background
Excellent writing skills and background
Persuasive oral presentation skills
Minimum two to three years banking experience
Computer proficiency in a Windows environment
