Chartered in December of 1952 as Collins TD Credit Union.

Started with 10 employees making an initial deposit of $5.00 each. In the early 1970s the name changed to Richardson Credit Union and became the only community credit union in north Texas.

With continued growth, in the mid 1980s the name changed to Community Credit Union. In 2005 Community Credit Union applied for a charter conversion and the members voted to convert to a mutual thrift and on January 3, 2006 we opened our doors as ViewPoint Bank.

The Mortgage Collector will perform Collection activity on Real Estate Loan Accounts that also includes consumer, business, and commercial loans.
REQUIREMENTS
Responsible for contacting members regarding Real Estate Loan obligations and make arrangements for repayment while, adhering to applicable State and Federal Laws, FannieMae guidelines, regulations and bank policies governing collection.

Prepare and recommend to the Collection Supervisor, when appropriate right of offsets, skip-a-pays, re-ages and adverse actions on accounts to include but, not limited to, repossessions, closures of credit limits, blocks on ATM/VCC cards, and account alerts and stop codes to alert other banking departments of potential losses.

Analyze, initiate documentation, and obtain necessary approval for Loan modifications, Refinances, Short-Sales, Subordination Agreements, Foreclosures, Purchases, Assignments and Loan Pay-offs on Real Estate loans.

Responsible for the preparation and reporting of Real Estate accounts on daily, weekly and monthly reporting.

Respond to members' inquiries regarding Real Estate obligation owed to the bank both written and verbal.

Order Inspections and Broker's Opinions of Value as required.

Perform "Skip-traces" as required.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Follows all compliance policies and procedures.

Associate's degree (A.A.); one to two years experience Real Estate Collection Field, Fannie Mae loans and advanced Industry courses in collection. One year FannieMae Collection experience a must.
