Mgr, Risk Analysis

Manager, Risk Analysis Under the direction of the Divisional Senior Management, the successful candidate will be relied on to provide technical and operational support in managing the division's risk exposure on all matters related to the division's business, including: loan quality, compliance, trailing documents, loss mitigation efforts, insuring of government loans, tracking and analysis of correspondent performance, and monitoring division operations for adherence to proper procedures. Key functions include monitoring and analyzing risk trends and recommending appropriate policies, procedures and practices by which to strengthen internal operations, in addition to initiating, managing and conducting projects focusing on process improvement. Ultimately, this position is responsible for shaping strategic initiatives with a technology emphasis, in support of long-range growth for the division.

Requirements:

College degree or equivalent.

5+ years of increasingly responsible mortgage experience, preferably utilizing sophisticated analytic and financial tools.

Significant business analysis and systems development experience.

Knowledge of staff training and development techniques.

Knowledge of correspondent lending business practices, policies and procedures.

In-depth understanding of systems analysis, data query and capture.

Proficiency in current computer software such as: Lotus Notes, Excel, Access, SQL Server Query Analyzer and AS400/Query.

Effective verbal/written communication skills, including stand-up presentation skills.

Self-motivated, detail oriented and highly organized.
