Master Limited Partnerships - Research Associate

RESPONSIBILITIES: • assist in the development of detailed financial models.
•coordinate, generate and maintain research reports, presentations and databases
•help coordinate quarterly and year end reporting initiatives
•participate in and assist with morning comments
•help maintain and develop sector specific databases
•provide research support to analyst and team as required
•support and answer client queries as they relate to the sector
•assist with special ad-hoc projects, presentations and initiatives as assigned
Job Requirements QUALIFICATIONS:
•excellent writing and communications skills is a must
•strong computer skills, specifically in Excel and other Office applications. Also any experience with Bloomberg, FactSet, Reuters, etc. is a plus.
•completed MBA program
•ability to perform under pressure and meet time sensitive deadlines with attention to detail
•ability to prioritize work and multi-task responsibilities
•self starter - must be organized and able to work independently
•previous energy industry experience is a plus
•have an expertise in the Master Limited Partnership (MLP) sector
•any further designation a bonus (CFA, CPA, etc.)
