Job Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)Job Description: Develops and implements marketing strategies, marketing plans, campaign plans, and growth of existing business and identifies and pursues new business development opportunities. Manages new business funds budget, new business forecasting, customer contact plans and adherence to IBAP processes in all pursuits or campaigns. Researches customer budget and planned procurement schedules in order to coordinate and execute campaigns and opportunities. Coordinates campaign teams and supports Capture Team Leader requirements. Will coordinate new business opportunity analysis, win strategy development, market research, and competitive intelligence assessments and validate the requirements with the respective Program Manager. Directly responsible for proposal development, marketing, advertising, and customer contact plan management. Develops relationships necessary to better understand the customer¿s needs and decision making processes. Reports operationally to the assigned Program Manager and functionally to the Senior Business Development Manager in support of the Naval Integrated Logistics. The programs to be supported by the candidate are Marine Corps platforms and Performance Based Logistics business growth. Competencies REQUIRED: Qualified candidate must have in-depth knowledge of naval aviation operational requirements and capabilities. Logistics experience and knowledge of naval budgeting, funding and contracting processes as well as program requirements. Applicants for this position must be able to define prior experiences in learning processes, adherence to processes and management to results. Operational and acquisition experience preferred. Excellent presentation and writing skills are required.Notes: Domestic and international travel required.
