Marketing Manager - Mortgage

Business Unit: GE MoneyFunction: MarketingResponsibilities: *Manage the strategy and execution of marketing programs directed at mortgage customer acquisition with a focus on the Outbound Telemarketing and Service to Sales Channels.
Be responsible for developing the strategy for marketing campaigns by working with cross-functional contacts such as, Risk, IT, Finance, Analytics, Service to Sales Operations and Outbound Telemarketing Teams, Call Center functions and the mortgage originations vendor (PHH) through the Mortgage Vendor Relationship Manager. Key elements of marketing campaigns include: obtaining approval to market campaigns, program/portfolio profitability, audit and compliance, competitive monitoring, product enhancement/development, testing, procedures, and communication of results.
Complete Plan projections and regularly provide forecast updates on all campaigns.
Work closely with external creative, analytic, data, and print vendors to maximize program performance.
Execute and audit file production for outbound Telemarketing and Service to Sales Marketing campaigns.
Actively network with other Service to Sales and Outbound Telemarketing owners to share best practices to improve overall results.
Work closely with Risk and Finance contacts to develop and maintain waterfalls, models, and other prospecting tools that enhance program performance.
Regularly monitor the competitive landscape and react when appropriate by altering product, offers, and value proposition.
Monitor program/portfolio profitability and make necessary adjustments to drive results.
Complete Program Approvals for each campaign and obtain all necessary signatures.
Evaluate channel performance processes and make recommendations for improvement.~HJ~~NW~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * 7+ years marketing experience in the 1st and 2nd mortgage business with demonstrable experience in developing products and programs to meet and beat volume targets profitably.
Experience in Service to Sales Management, preferably with mortgage or other consumer loan products.
Experience in Outbound Telemarketing Management in financial services
Project management experience.
Experience working with teams. Ability to gain buy-in of business development ideas a big plus. Strong results orientation with a "can-do" attitude. Strong ability to work with multi-functional teams toward achieving goals.
Proven ability to identify key customer segments and needs and, to recommend profitable marketing programs or products that meet those needs.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas articulately to internal and external customers, peers and senior management both verbally and in writing.Desired: * Expertise in mortgage customer acquisitions in the credit card industry.
