Market Surveillance Analyst

My client is one of the world's largest Investment Banks. They are in need of an Analyst to perform surveillance of equity and fixed income cash trading businesses.Responsibilities:
Perform surveillance of equity and fixed income cash trading businesses in the Investment Bank with regard to issues such as NYSE Rule 92 and front running in equity securities and shortened and extended settlements in fixed income securities.Review exception alerts generated through an automated surveillance platform.In the course of the corresponding analyses, perform market reconstructions to develop a chronology of activity and market factors in existence during the activity in question and perform trader position reconstruction to identify potential issues in the trading patterns.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Candidate must have a solid understanding of equity trading in listed securities and an understanding of the basic regulations that govern the business.Candidate must be particularly attentive to details and comfortable researching and considering many factors prior to making a determination on issues reviewed.Candidate must be able to work independently and be confident enough to ask questions when necessary.The right candidate will be highly organized and will have a strong technical aptitude.The reviews may result in a need to interview traders and desk managers, so good communication skills are a must.Please forward resumes to [Click here for email]EOE
