Manager, Servicing Portfolio

PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

This position is responsible for the direct leadership of the E*Trade Bank Servicers, Sub-Servicer, New Sellers that want to be Servicers, Vault File Retention, Liaison to various units in the Bank, including Accounting, assisting internal audit with on-site Servicer visits , annual sevicer reviews, and daily audits of Servicer activity.

Ensure all regulatory and compliance polices are adhered to within the unit:

Implement control procedures to mitigate risks and liabilities, and maintain controls already in place to ensure compliance and accuracy

Assist with questions related to unit processes and procedures

Facilitate direct communication concerning new processes and procedures.

Provide input and suggestions for the improvement and automation of processes.



Manage the Purchaser and Seller discrepancies at funding or other issues after the Bankb
to the B
ank.



Maintain records and efficiencies for OTS audits as well as Internal Audits of the Bank.



Manage an Audit Unit of all loans serviced for the Bank.

-Audit a sample of ARM loan changes monthly

-Audit a sample of Escrow Analysis change monthly

- Manage Flood Determination loans and ensure adequate insurance coverage

-Lead an audit according to service agreements and industry business standards for each servicer

Manage third Party Vendors:

-Define the requirements, which First American provides Flood Determinations and daily updates if the flood zone changes.

-Manage First American Tax contract

-Ensure contract adherence by the Sub-Servicer, GMACM

REQUIREMENTS


QUALIFICATIONS:



Education and/or Experience:

Possess at least a degree in Business or 10 years comparable time in mortgage servicing at various levels

2 years of supervisory - management experience

2 years in an Accounts Receivable/Payable Environment, helpful

2 years Investor accounting experience, helpful

Customer Service Experience

Secondary Marketing experience

Arm Audit and or Arm document experience

Mortgage Servicing Default experience, including foreclosure and REO, helpful

Mortgage Servicing Escrow experience, including insurance, tax and flood

Proficient in Excel, Access, Word

Successful completion of specialized in-service and outside job-related training
