Much of their work for financial institutions is centered on business design and best practice identification, functional requirements gathering, and application selection.

§Identifying client needs in order to develop solutions that meet those needs.
§Managing integrated research and consulting engagements on time and on-budget – projects may span from short-term, rapid results to longer-term engagements.
§Ability to provide business insight, and financial services insight, into multiple concurrent engagements.
§Ability to provide quality control to engagement teams, around their analytic and problem-solving processes, and around how they are introducing their conclusions and solutions to client sponsors.
§Ability to develop and capitalize on new Intellectual Capital for the business through reviewing the work of engagement teams, and through personal industry observations.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements/Skills:§Strong and broad experience in retail banking
§Proven track record in developing creative and fact-based solutions to complex strategic questions, especially in the field of retail banking§Preferred candidates will have experience with branch and network issues, delivery and service issues, products, metrics, segmentation, emerging affluent and other important consumer segments
§Adaptable, “roll-up-your-sleeves”, hands-on consultant with high intelligence
§Must possess strong quantitative analytic skills, including dynamic model building in excel, statistics and a good understanding of sources
§Desire to build a practice and to be recognized as “the industry expert” in your field
§A self-starter able to create revenue independently and in a team environment.
§Problem solving skills
§Very strong oral and written communication skills
§Bachelors degree in related field plus extensive industry experience (business or technology)§Experience in a top consulting company preferred
§Willingness to travel
