Job DutiesComplete the Branch Management Training program within 6-12 months in order to gain a broad understanding of the Savings industry and to become familiar with the full scope of Branch services and sales activities.Demonstrate successful completion of training through competency testing.Learn functional retail banking systems and operational tasks pertaining to the Branch system and its supporting Departments.Complete hands-on project assignments to further develop management, leadership, and administrative skills.Empower, lead, and motivate others in a strong team retail environment.Demonstrate initiative in anticipating issues and developing ideas to resolve problems.Become familiar with Savings policies and procedures.Support and promote management?s strategies for achievement of sales goals and objectives.Develop a focused management style that can adjust and function in various Branch environments.Assist Branch Management throughout the District?s various locations.Perform assigned duties within all major areas of the Branch.

Job RequirementsHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.Some college preferred; AA or Bachelor?s degree a plus.At least 1 year of experience supervising/managing a minimum of 5 or more people.Previous experience in sales or retail with cash-handling experience.Banking experience a plus.Securities and insurance licenses a plus.A track record of excellent customer relations demonstrating cooperation, courtesy, and respect when interacting with customers and Branch staff.Strong motivation to work with people.Strong leadership and proven high-quality decision-making abilities.Excellent communication skills and organizational skills with attention to detail and quality.Proven ability to adapt and respond appropriately to changing work demands.Ability to learn and apply new policies and procedures.Willingness to work a flexible schedule of 34 to 40 hours per week, Monday through Saturday.Ability to travel and work at various locations throughout the District as needed.Basic computer skills.
