Individual will oversee mortgage dept. Manages and directs the daily activities of the real estate operations department. The individual is responsible for all lending functions, which may include sales, funding, underwriting, processing and closing. Responsible for the productivity and budgetary performance of the real estate department. Ensures efficient delivery of products and services to clients.Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Underwrites real estate loan applications and evaluates loans in order to maximize organizational profit and minimize risk or loss.
• Monitors property appraisal process.
• Closes loans and disburses loan funds.
• Reviews all loan documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Develops real estate loan business by networking and outreach through seminars, realtors etc.• Supervises and trains a team of employees to ensure that new real estate loan packages are processed and completed according to established policies and procedures.
• Develops and implements policies and procedures for real estate operations.
• Manages the closing of routine and complex real estate loan requests.
