JOB SUMMARY
Solicits approved and prospective Correspondent Lenders for Nationstar loan products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Generates new mortgage loan business through effective prospecting of outside assigned Correspondent Lenders and travels to their assigned territories.Effectively solicits and manages leads generated through various Correspondent loan officers and processors.Sources new business on an ongoing basis and submits loan packages from them when received.Structures loans in the field to meet Nationstar Underwriting guidelines.Effectively develops and manages all business opportunities within a defined sales territory.Assists in obtaining sufficient and complete documentation from Correspondent Lenders as required by the Underwriting guidelines.Acts as a liaison between Nationstar and Correspondent Lenders throughout all phases of the loan process.Maintains sales contact, pipeline and other pertinent sales activity reports.Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate for this position will have 2+ years prior experience in mortgage industry. Proven ability to develop and manage a client base, multi-tasking and superb organizational skills are required. The ability to demonstrate good disciplines in working within a structured lending environment is critical. Excellent communication and presentation skills are required. High school diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred.
