M&A Modeling - Investment Banking

Unique opportunity available in a leading international bank's core transportation business. Please note that this position is available as a permanent direct-hire opening or as a contract consulting engagement. Our client will consider qualified candidates interested in all employment types.

Our client is actively expanding its base of products to include asset funds, equity investments, joint ventures, mezzanine finance, acquisition finance and select corporate finance advisory services.

In this position you will analyze and help structure MBO’s and other acquisition finance transactions, equity investments, asset based lending – including ABS transactions, and corporate finance advisory mandates.

The position will involve extensive modeling and M&A analysis. Qualified candidates will be competent in constructing models for the above products.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified candidates will have the following qualifications:

- Significant commercial banking and/or investment banking experience,
- Advanced modeling skills and facility in Excel,
- Transaction experience with exposure to M&A preferred.
- Strong communication skills;
- Highly analytical yet strategic thinker, capable of thinking through the financing and advisory needs of a client;
- Experience in Transportation will be given special consideration, but is not essential.
