Loan Sales Trading Assistant

Established international banking institution in Midtown Manhattan is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented trading assistant to work on the Loan Sales Trading Desk.

Responsibilities:

- Work directly with a senior trader and several salespeople.
- Follow up and maintain accurate status of all deals utilizing Loan IQ, LoanTrak.
- Understand and apply knowledge of LSTA including documentation, closing and settlements.
- Perform extensive analyses in MS Excel (heavy calculations, accuracy, and mutliple worksheets/workbooks) to provide comprehensive deal analysis.
REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years trading assistant experience or a similar middle-office role on a loan sales trading desk.
- Must have experience with one or more of the following applications: Loan IQ, LoanTrak.
- Must have experience with LSTA including documentation, closing and settlements.
- Must have outstanding skills in Excel.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Series 7 a plus.
