As an Account Manager/Loan Officer you will be accountable for originating loans within designated builder communities and managing a pipeline through underwriting, processing, closing and post-closing.

A key function of the Account Manager/Loan Officer is to generate and maintain communication between the builder and the mortgage company; always remembering the builder is "our number one customer".

Other important functions include:
Maintaining a satisfactory closing/backlog capture ratio and expected customer satisfaction levels based on Company standards.
Advising and educating prospective borrowers and existing borrowers regarding programs, rates and documentation requirements, performing pre-qualifications for prospective customers on an as needed basis
Submitting complete mortgage applications by conducting a thorough telephone interview with the customer.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate must meet the following criteria:
Must be fluent in Spanish
Possess an associates degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school
Two years of Mortgage Origination experience
Homebuilder experience a plus
Be detail-oriented with excellent communication and organizational skills
Have exceptional follow up and customer service skills
Be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Have knowledge of general accounting principles and familiarity with real estate and mortgage terminology
