Loan Officer - St. Louis - (JH10366)

Description:
Responsible for generating closed loans from previously established book of business and newly generated relationships in the local business community. Develop and maintain relationships within assigned UMB Branches.

Maximize and enhance volume opportunities within assigned territory. Monitor relationship and act as a liaison between PHH Mortgage and UMB branch Team Players for the purposes of creating more lead opportunities.

Increase lead volume and loan generation within existing accounts. Market/ introduce new programs and changes in existing programs through formal presentations and other creative methods.

Prospect for sales opportunities with new clients. Distribute and ensure that marketing materials are prominently displayed. Assist in the development of specific marketing material, campaigns, contests and presentations. Monitor lead activity on a monthly basis.

Market UMB Mortgage Services within the community. Build lead referral relationships with builders, attorneys, title agencies and other mortgage or real estate interested businesses.

Demonstrate a working knowledge of PHH products, services, policies, procedures industry trends and changes, as well as the competitive environment. Provide the necessary reporting and documentation. Provide Regional Manager with weekly feedback.

Qualifications:
Requires college degree or equivalent experience. Working knowledge of FNMA, FHLC guidelines. Two plus years experience originating mortgages is required. Proven established book of referral business. Proven sales and relationship building orientation. This position is best suited for highly motivated, entrepreneurial individuals who are looking for a unique and rewarding opportunity. The ideal candidate must have knowledge and skills in selling face to face, preparing and executing sales presentations, recommending specific objectives and strategies for Financial Institution Branches as well as long term strategic planning.
