Loan Officer Assistant - West Los Angeles, CA

As a loan officer assistant, you will support one or more loan officers and serve as a contact point for customers to resolve issues/difficulties across multiple departments that directly impact the ability to do business with Chase Home Finance. In this role, you will be responsible for the following functions: facilitate application process by interfacing with customer in taking complete applications; requesting documentation from borrowers; discussing products and pricing at the request of, or in the absence of, the loan officer; take all initial inquiry calls for pre-qualifications and review data with loan officer; act as liaison between loan officer, branch and processing center (if applicable) and coordinate submissions and closings; act as the primary liaison with group of established realtors (20-30) to allow loan officer to concentrate on generating new business; review complex files; identify potential problems with loan applications and arrive at workable solutions prior to submission to processing; manage pipeline, including updating loan officer on pipeline status and updating borrowers and builders on status of loan; watch for and prevent pipeline fallout and quote rate to pipeline floats; coordinate and manage marketing to buyers, sellers, realtors and builders; assist in staffing Realtor/builder open houses and trade shows; establish with loan officer annual number of loans required to fund and close and/or incremental increase in loan officer(s)'s annual production; and, if applicable, support loan officer(s) to achieve high usage of laptop originations. You will provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

REQUIREMENTS
College graduate or 4 years work experience in mortgage loan processing
Marketing and advertising experience a plus
Excellent computer skills (familiar with MS Office products or similar software)
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent written/oral communication
Excellent organization skills
Ability to demonstrate control, flexibility, and maintain quality and high productivity when dealing with customers and changing work demands
