Loan Officer Assistant

We have the following opening in our fast-paced Concord, CA Branch.
The primary function of this position is to ensure the timely and accurate packaging of all FHA/VA/CONV loans originated by designated loan officers; gathering information, processing the package to make sure it meets the specific guidelines, verifying loan documents including income, credit appraisal and title insurance, and ultimately preparing application for submittal to underwriting. You will manage their pipeline to ensure all loans are processed in a timely manner.
Requirements include:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
-1+ years processing experience with Conv/Gov loans
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment, prioritizing, and follow-through
JOB DUTIES FOR LOAN OFFICER ASSISTANT
1.Retrieve mail and file accordingly
2.Make copies as needed
3.Send faxes as needed
4.Respond to all emails
5.Answer all incoming telephone calls
6.Print daily Rate Sheets
7.Conduct client interviews (pre-qualifications)
8.Enter information from client interviews into Loansoft
9.Order Credit Reports
10.Review credit reports, identify monthly debts, highlight any collections/judgments/tax liens that need attention
11.Make pre-qualification files (manila folders)
12.Input client documentation into Loansoft (earnings, assets, etc)
13.Complete file jacket cover for loans to be turned in
14.Organize files to be turned in (place all documentation in appropriate sections per the pink dividers)
15.Create copy file
16.Print all marketing letters to be sent out during transaction
17.Mail out 1003s, GFEs, and disclosures to borrowers
18.Obtain purchase contract/TDS from agents (for appraisal orders)
19.Order appraisals
20.Open escrows (refinances and FSBOs)
21.Obtain phone/fax numbers/addresses for all VOEs/VODs
22.Turn in files to processing
23.Follow up on all applicable appraisal, submission, approval and funding conditions
24.Order property profiles
25.Prepare any necessary grant deeds/quitclaim deeds
26.Order insurance –refinances ( purchases only as needed)
27.Complete loan docs order sheets
28.Print and prepare loan docs for any doc signings in our office
29.Fax lender’s instructions to escrow to prepare Estimated HUD-1 and rate/term or any other closing amendments
30.Sign and notarize loan docs
31.Complete broker submission forms
32.Copy and submit broker loans
33.Complete broker doc order sheets
34.Send out all marketing letters
35.Read scripts as necessary with agents/borrowers
