Manages collections staff and operations. Ensures all loan collection functions are performed in full compliance with Company and investor guidelines. Recommends changes and improvements and implements approved new procedures.

1. Manages, trains and monitors loan counselors to improve efficiency and ensure conformance to standard procedures and practices. Completes monthly and annual reviews on personnel in accordance with established guidelines. Operates as Floor Manager, providing daily one-on-one contact with counselors.

2. Responsible for maintaining appropriate delinquency levels on assigned accounts.

3. Assists in the development and implementation of operating plans encompassing staffing and facilities needs.

4. Prepares work schedules and assigns duties to loan counseling personnel to ensure efficient operation of Department.

5. Reviews/updates policies and procedures including developing and writing training manuals.

6. Prepares daily and monthly reports on counselors' efficiencies and provides to VP.

7. Audits accounts and production reports to ensure compliance with procedure and production guidelines.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school graduate

Experience/Training:
5 or more years experience in collections. Prior supervisory or management experience.

Skills:
Knowledge of debt collection; excellent communication skills; creative problem solving skills.
