Full Job Title: Level 4 Stress Analyst Skills Management Title Structural AnalystJob Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)Job Description: Candidate should have a clear understanding and experience in the strength, stability, and durability analysis pertaining to large aircraft structure. The candidate should also have a working knowledge of damage tolerance/fracture mechanics, design allowable development, finite element modeling, and design criteria development. The person in this position will develop strength check notes and formal analysis, review drawings, and disposition shop rejection tags. Out of plant travel may be required to support programs needs. The successful candidate will be placed in a Military program. Competencies Only experienced-level positions are available. Candidate should typically have a minimum of thirteen years experience with stress analysis as used in large aircraft design; good communication skills; the ability to effectively work in a team environment; and have good PC computing skills. Experience supporting the fabrication/build, Modification, and fleet maintenance is desired. Familiarity with Boeing aircraft structural requirements and FAA certification are a plus.Notes: Candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person. Preference is given to a candidate who is able to obtain a U.S. Military security clearance.
