Lending Operations

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $40000 to $45000 per year Lending Operations Purpose: To provide administrative support to the Lending Operations Team of Corporate Banking Operations. The nature of the support requires an energetic individual with strong analytical skills, basic understanding of the loan products, and extensive knowledge of MS Office, reporting to the AVP/Team Leader of the Lending Operations group.Requirements: The candidate should have extensive experience in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Access. Basic understanding of loan processing and/or letters of credit would be beneficial.Main Functions:Identify, label and distribute incoming fax correspondence using Microsoft OutlookAssist with preparation, faxing and mailing of the invoices for the Letters of Credit commissions.Assist inputting daily fluctuation of LC balances into the IBS systemAssist applying fee receipts into in-house reconciliation systemAssign outstanding differences in the cash account to the Loan Administrators using Microsoft Access databaseAssist with preparation of weekly and monthly escalation reportsOrganize and coordinate various team eventsDistribute daily incoming mailCo-ordinate weekly supplies ordersMaintenance of vacation, sickness, etc. recordsAssist with various system enhancements and testing, as directed by Team LeaderAssist Managers with sundry other administrative & processing tasks, as required.
Experience:Extensive experience with MS Office suite of products, especially with Microsoft OutlookCompleted or Underway college degree from an accredited schoolBasic experience in Corporate BankingEssential Qualities: The successful candidate will possess many of the following qualities/skills:
