Position Summary:
Immediate opening for a Bankruptcy Legal Secretary in our fast-paced Dallas office. We seek a hard-working, dedicated and creative individual to serve as a key staff member.

Duties will include filing documents with the different courts, serving process on interested parties, extensive phone contact with clients, transcription, and creation/revision of pleadings and other complex documents among other bankruptcy legal secretarial duties.

REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:Position requires three to five years legal secretarial experience and familiarity with large firm environments, with extensive knowledge of specific procedures pertaining to Chapter 11 business bankruptcy.
Individual must be knowledgeable in court filing procedures, managing and coordinating large document compilations and mail outs, producing PowerPoint presentations and working in Excel.
It is also very important that individual possesses a high degree of self-directed initiative and individual judgment
Exceptional communication and organizational skills
Strong attention to detail
Excellent MSWord and Outlook experience
Exceptional typing (minimum 80+ wpm) and language arts skills. Excellent people skills with clients, staff and attorneys required.
College degree preferred.
Occasional overtime may be required.
