LOAN/LEASE PROCESSOR V

Employment Type: Regular Full/Part Time: Full Time Division: Processing Solutions Location: Madisonville Office Building, Cincinnati, OHGENERAL FUNCTION: Under minimal supervision, performs a variety of highly complex clerical, analytical, and customer service functions relating to the filing and retrieval of loan, lease and mortgage files and documents, within established productivity standards. May be responsible for reviewing and approving loan documentation for larger and more complex loan applications. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Researches and corrects loan or lease files. Performs a comprehensive review and final approval of pre-closing loan documents of loans exceeding $1,000,000. Ensures prepared documents are accurate, complete, appropriate, and consistent with legal guidelines and with corporate policy. Provides high level of customer service when responding to external customers as well as internal departments. Ensures that the proper lending authority was utilized in the approval of each loan. Acts as a consultant to lenders assisting them with any questions. Identifies any violation of written credit policies and recommends corrective action to appropriate lending personnel. Ensures that all third party documents have been files accurately and are properly recorded. Compiles necessary production statistics for upper management. Trains employees.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None Job RequirementsMINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. College degree or equivalent preferred. Minimum of 2 years experience with loan documentation. Extensive knowledge of legal and regulatory matters, perfection/recording requirements. Must be familiar with bank policies as they relate to the preparation of loan documents. Above average analytical skills are necessary. Must be familiar with Windows based computer programs.
