Key Accounts Manager / Bank Sales Executive

Vanguard, a world leader in financial services, is seeking a Key Accounts Manager/Bank Sales Executive for our Financial Advisor Services, (FAS). You will be responsible for new business development and relationship management within a dedicated channel and geographical territory. You will serve as a trusted advisor to investment advisors by leveraging your knowledge of their investment philosophy, client bases and product preferences.

In this role you will raise awareness of Vanguard's exchange-traded fund and mutual fund offerings through targeted prospecting activities including cold calling, direct mail campaigns, face-to-face client meetings as well as national and regional industry conferences. You will also partner with advisors and firms to participate in special events, client seminars and key producer educational meetings. Lastly you will contribute to FAS team objectives that will have a positive impact on the overall success of our wholesaling initiatives and report sales results using Vanguard's unmatchable excellence programs.
REQUIREMENTS


- Bachelor's degree. Master's or professional designations (CIMA) a plus.
- Minimum of eight years' financial services experience, with five years of intermediary sales/external wholesaling experience.
- Thorough knowledge of various intermediary channels, including registered investment advisers, trust institutions, broker/dealers, and insurance companies.
- Comprehensive investment product and capital markets knowledge.
- Superior relationship management and presentations skills.
- Ability to work independently at a consistently high level.
- Strict adherence to Vanguard's code of ethics policies.
- Series 6, 63, 7 and 65 licenses.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and CRM programs.
- Ability to meet a high travel requirement.
