Junior Accountant summary:

Our clients, prestigious financial services firms in the Manhattan area, are currently seeking to hire for multiple Junior Accountant positions on a contract basis. These positions have the distinct possibility of going permanent!

Junior Accountant is responsible for:
Preparing journal entries on a monthly basis.
Reconciling general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
Completing journal entries to correct any miscoding.
Performing analysis, month end closings and monthly/quarterly reporting to the client.
REQUIREMENTS
Good analytical skills.
Can-do attitude/pro-active.
Good understanding of general accepted accounting principles.
Excellent communication and presentation skills: Written, Verbal, Listening.Requirements:
Accounting degree necessary.
