Item Processing Tech I (Sorter Operator, TEMPORARY, Nights)

WesCorp, one of the nation's largest corporate credit unions, is seeking an energetic individual with experience processing depository items through a sorter.

This part-time night-shift position (M-F, from approximately 8:00 pm until 2:00 am, for a total of 30 hours per week) is in our San Leandro location, located in the San Leandro marina district, just minutes from the Oakland Airport.

REQUIREMENTS
Prior financial institution experience is required
One to three years' item processing experience in a credit union, bank, or other financial institution
Must have knowledge of medium-to-high-speed sorter, encoding equipment, and stripper/destripper
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, 10-key by touch, and typing skills are required
Experience with balancing and reconciling process helpful
Ability to operate personal computer, printer, and copy machine required
Must be able to communicate effectively and comprehend and follow instructions.
