Item Processing Clerk (2nd Shift)

Item Processing Clerk is responsible for performing tasks associated with processing all teller/internal bank transactions received by the St Paul Data Center according to established policies and procedures. Item Processing clerk will ensure that daily work is completed in a timely manner to meet all deadlines. Other duties include: processing over-the-counter POD work - receiving, logging in, prepping, setting up and running Banctec reader Sorters, reentry of encoding reject cash letter items, and performing closing functions upon completion. Maintain equipment and perform preventative cleaning on a regular basis. Perform any other tasks assigned by the Supervisory Staff to ensure proper and timely work-flow is achieved. Hours M-F 6PM - 2AM.
REQUIREMENTS
Successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in Proof, Item Processing or general banking experience (e.g. Bank Teller) REQUIRED. 10-key proficiency, data entry skills and basic Windows PC experience a must. Good math and problem resolution skills are required to balance bank transactions. Candidate must have the ability to work well in a pressure-packed environment and be able to succeed in a team-oriented atmosphere through cooperation and interaction with a diverse group of team members. Must possess the ability to be seated for extended periods and flexible enough to work until all processing has been completed for the evening. Hours M-F 6PM - 2AM.
