Investment Research Supervisory Analyst
Duties: Conduct Supervisory review, edit, clear (including ensuring that all necessary disclosures are included), and publish notes, reports, handouts, presentations, and other forms of investment research as needed.
Work with analyst teams globally to publish product accurately and quickly.
Work with members of Central Compliance globally to ensure that research complies with all regulatory requirements.
Meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
Use proprietary applications to manage workflow, record production details, and publish research. Be proficient in all major Microsoft applications.
Be able to work long and unpredictable hours as needed. This person will work for Pan Asia but located in the US to take advantage of the time zone.
Skills: Ability to see the big picture—to look at the commerciality, quality, structure, arguments, and balance of a research product, and make sure that it conforms to all legal and regulatory requirements.
Excellent interpersonal skills (must manage relationships with large group of internal clients, including direct managers, analyst teams, clearance officers, and representatives from other departments worldwide, as needed).
Proven time-management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize and juggle several projects while working under tight deadline pressure.
High motivation—a self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a global team.
Detail-orientation—good at following the numbers.
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a genuine interest in business and the financial markets.
Proficiency in Microsoft desktop applications—Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.
Asia experience and preferably w/Asian language skills a pull but not required.
Education: University graduate. •Relevant post-graduate degree (such as MBA) advantageous. Minimum of three years of experience in the financial industry, preferably as a research analyst, credit analyst, or supervisory analyst. •NYSE Series 16 required (if candidates do not have the Series 16, they will be expected to sit and pass the exam soon after joining). Other relevant financial qualifications advantageous (NYSE Series 4, 7, 63, CFA)
