Investment Management and Investment Administration for Defined Contribution and Non-qualified Plans

Lockheed Martin Investment Management Company (LMIMCO) seeks an experienced investment professional for its Bethesda, MD office to provide investment management oversight and administration for both large and small Defined Contribution (“DC”) Plans and Trusts. A financial background is required, and work experience should include familiarity with ERISA assets managed in a corporate plan sponsor setting or work with ERISA trusts and plans in a legal setting, with investment, consulting, banking, or mutual fund work experience a plus.

Investment oversight includes non-qualified plan assets and employer stock funds. Focus of work is on trust and manager contracts and agreements, investment analysis and reporting, regulatory issues, mutual funds, employer stock issues, participant communications, trust charging and management of service provider relationships.

Hands-on team-player and multi-tasker, willing to assume broad work scope including in-depth research, investment policies, interfacing with corporate legal and human resources counterparts and overseeing outside investment managers, trustees, custodians and consultants.
REQUIREMENTS
Required Skills/Experience

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college with 15 years of experience or 13 years of experience with a Masters degree.
• Financial background
• Investment experience
• Strong Excel skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to enable participation on investment communications and reporting to the Investment Committee and the Board of Directors.
