Investment Analyst - Corporate Financial Services

Business Unit: GE Commercial Finance, Corporate Financial ServicesFunction: FinanceResponsibilities: GE Corporate Financial Services (CFS) provides an array of financing solutions to corporate and middle market customers.The Investment Analyst works as part of a team completing on-site audits (field examinations) of existing and prospective clients (borrowing organizations). Audit teams assess current or potential credit risk, report on findings and formulate recommendations for Underwriters/ Credit Risk Account Managers:Conduct audit pre-work and analysis on industry trends (competitive landscape), prior audit findings, etc.
Meet with client staff and analyze client financial records, systems, controls and trends in collateral (e.g., inventory, accounts receivables and equipment).
Validate borrowing base accuracy.
Conduct additional sampling as appropriate based on findings.
Compile results, significant findings and recommendations; draft and revise audit report.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree (minimum 3.0 GPA minimum overall).Demonstrated leadership skills in campus organizations, work experience (paid or volunteer), internships and/or community service.Relevant business, finance and/or accounting related internships.At least 9 credit hours of Accounting courses at the undergraduate level.ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
