Orthovita, Inc., located in Malvern, PA, is a biomaterials company with proprietary technologies for the development and commercialization of synthetic, biologically active, tissue engineering products for orthopedic and neurosurgical applications.
We have an immediate opening for an individual to assist with scheduled internal inventory reconciliations of consignment inventory. This position will work with sales representatives and distributors to obtain a count of consignment inventory in their possession, compare it to internal system records, and resolve discrepancies to ensure an accurate accounting of Orthovita products.
Responsible for confirming & reconciling inventory consigned to hospital accounts on a scheduled annual basis.This position will also work with sales representatives and distributors to rebalance consignment inventory to maintain par levels that are within the established policy for inventory turns.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants with prior banking experience (ie: Tellers) are encouraged to apply. Excellent analytical skills required. Must have ability to communicate effectively with field personnel by telephone/e-mail regarding deadlines, procedures, and company policies. Experience with lot traceable products a plus. Needs ability to prioritize assignments.(A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred; a minimum of 3-5 yrs. of inventory mgmt. exp. required; experience with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word) required. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. Experience with lot traceable inventory in the pharmaceutical and/or medical device industry a plus.Orthovita offers competitive compensation.
