Internal Auditor - Level 5 Skills Management Title Auditing

Job Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Boeing World HeadquartersJob Description: Corporate Audit has corporate-wide governance responsibility which includes execution of operational, compliance and financial audits as well as execution of SOX 404 Operational Effectiveness (OE) testing. This position, located at Corporate Center in Chicago, IL, is responsible for actively supporting these governance activities by analyzing strategic, operational and financial information, and partnering with individuals and teams across the Company to assess and improve the company¿s internal control system. Focus areas include enterprise-wide processes, including Corporate Center and international operations. As focal for enterprise-wide processes, this role supports strategic alignment of audit-related processes, including integrating SOX control concepts into day-to-day business processes. Competencies The candidate must have an excellent working knowledge of business process, risk and control concepts (as defined within COSO), and knowledge of Boeing business operations from an enterprise-level perspective. The candidate must have exceptional business acumen and business analytical skills; strong verbal and written skills; and demonstrated ability to think ?out of the box,? challenge status quo; and provide counsel on control system strategy and planning to support business objectives. The candidate must have demonstrated ability to develop relationships with internal clients; work effectively with all levels, including company executives; educate clients on risk and control; partner with internal clients to develop risk and control recommendations; work well within a team environment as well as independently; and be adaptable and flexible in an ambiguous, virtual environment.Notes: Some travel required. Work experience outside of Boeing is a plus.
