Indirect Lending Manager

Based in the South Bay area of Southern California, Western Federal Credit Union fosters an organizational culture based on teamwork, recognition and personal development. The Indirect Lending Manager plans, directs, and controls the day-to-day indirect lending functions as well as the growth of the indirect dealer network. Supervises staff to ensure optimum support and achievement of indirect lending goals. Develops and administers indirect lending guidelines, policies and procedures. Performs funding analysis to ensure all timeframes for indirect loan activities are being met or exceeded. Develops recommendations regarding Indirect Loan policies and procedures for review by management. Responsible for the implementation of ongoing program improvements, including but not limited to, recommending and implementing methods to streamline processes. Oversees the testing of new indirect loan software and new software releases. Reviews and prepares indirect loan performance analyses. REQUIREMENTS
This position requires a high school diploma, some college preferred, with five years experience in a lending environment, preferably in a financial institution. Two years supervisory/managerial experience required. Comprehensive knowledge of consumer lending laws and regulations. Effective computer skills including Microsoft Office (e.g. Word, Excel), and other lending-related software programs. Analytical skills (i.e. ability to compute formulas, ratios, etc.). Effective research and problem-resolution skills and abilities. Broad knowledge of Credit Union laws and regulations. Requires the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with individuals and groups.
