Income Tax Analyst

Sr. Financial Reporting AccountantOur client is a leading Multi-Billion Dollar leader in their industry and is listed within the S&P 500 Index.

We are assisting our client a multi-billion dollar organization and a leader within their industry, in their search for a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to join their Corporate Headquarters located in the Chicago area. The successful candidate will be able to assist in the preparation of SEC filings including the company's annual Report on Form 10-K and quarterly reports on Form 10-Q.

Primary duties include
Responsible for assisting in the preparation of quarterly and annual SEC filings (Forms 10-Q and 10-K)Discussing technical accounting and reporting matters, assisting in the resolution of audit issues and providing necessary information.Ensure financial reporting is in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404.Working with external auditors as related to matters pertaining to external financial reporting.

REQUIREMENTS


The ideal candidate has between 3-6 years of financial reporting experience in Public Accounting and/or publicly held companies.A thorough knowledge of accounting principles and practices, along with SEC reporting requirements, including underlying theory required.Must have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting
CPA preferred
MBA a plus
