IT Configuration Coordinator - SAP Integration Team

Project EDGE is the Company’s strategic initiative that is charged with designing the enterprise-wide approach to our Global Supply Chain. As a result of changing business processes and supporting information technology, the initiative will improve customer satisfaction and produce in excess of $500 million in annual cost savings. The in-scope processes include Sourcing, Order Management, Planning, interaction with Manufacturing and Delivery. The Configuration Coordinator will work in a team environment to recommend and deliver tools and processes to manage configuration in a very complex landscape with overlapping waves of development and testing. The Configuration Coordinator will be responsible for: • Understanding of the overall supply chain processes and supporting technology • Knowledge of SAP configuration methodology, dealing with implementation of SAP configuration into multiple applications & managing multiple environments • Coordinating common processes/procedures among several project teams and several SAP applications • Auditing processes/procedures for potential improvements • Working with SAP Security and SAP Basis to ensure proper ‘gating’ of configuration changes to certain environments • Developing/supporting configuration approval/migration processes • Ensuring that configuration needs are being met and that deliverables are on time by participating in project/planning meetings and communicating regularly with team management and team members
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: 3+ years experience in one or more of the following areas: Data analysis, SAP configuration (R/3) and SAP landscapes. BS degree in computer science or related field preferred. Ideal candidates will be team players that bring project management skills, analytical skills, organizational skills and problem solving skills.
