(ISD) Manager, Systems Development

By combining your talent with our strength, we can achieve great results.Your job is to maintain project plans, delegate responsibilities, negotiate deadlines, and manage resources for existing legacy systems, as well as development of new applications in support of the Treasury/Payments and Money Fund Sweep business areas. You are under the general direction of the Banking Systems Group Manager. You perform annual performance-based appraisals for staff. You participate in the ongoing budget forecasting, tracking, and reporting process for assigned areas.Preferred Qualifications:You are a candidate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Visio. REQUIREMENTS
Basic Qualifications:You are a professional with a BS in Computer Science or related degree. You have 10+ years experience managing medium sized application development teams working within the Financial Services industry. You have experience performing annual appraisals for staff. You have application development experience with legacy mainframe, as well as distributed platform environments. You have experience managing expectations for multiple internal business clients. You have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to develop and motivate teams. You have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Project. You have a strong knowledge of the IMB mainframe application development process and environment (COBOL Batch, CICS, SQL/DB2). You have knowledge of the IBM Websphere/Java/J2EE development process and environment. You have strong knowledge of payments processing (wire transfer, check processing, ACH, check 21, lockbox). You have knowledge of money fund trading, settlement process, and systems.
