A Business Analyst within the Global Strategy and Services Integration group in Business Development Services (BDS) is responsible for managing, implementing, and coordinating strategic initiatives which impact the Firm's employees and clients, globally. The mission of the Business Analyst is to support the global service and strategic needs of BDS and provide non-financial services to the Firm and its clients by leveraging technology.
Act as liaison and coordinator between the business and the technology departments. Coordinate analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance phases of the software development projects. Develop and execute project management plans. Establish system and user training documentation. Train users as necessary. Evaluate new software solutions, compare vendor packages, and perform build versus buy analysis. Present management with recommendations. Identify technology solutions to business problems. Implement a wide variety of Firm-wide and BDS division software solutions in a dynamic environment. Interact with various levels of management. Interview project stakeholders to identify requirements and survey current business processes; identify potential areas of improvement. Manage onshore and offshore development resources. Organize and manage several projects simultaneously. Perform data analysis, define and implement integration strategies between various corporate systems. Project involvement includes analysis, development of business requirements and recommendations, and implementation of solutions. REQUIREMENTS
Requirements include:Bachelor's degree with 1-3 years experience, preferably in business analysis or a related role.Experience in developing business requirements and implementing practical business solutions.Strong communication skills. Strong organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.Self-motivated individual with a high level of initiative and energy.Ability to succeed in a team environment.Detail-oriented with strong PC skills (e.g. Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). Good HTML and GUI design experience. Some JSP, ASP, XML, CSS and JavaScript preferred. Light database and SQL knowledge.
