Position Summary:

Our ideal candidate will be a high-energy, experienced graphic designer with proven expertise in a variety of disciplines including: campaign design, copy writing, branding, collateral development, as well as online, direct and event marketing.

This position is responsible for the design and development of SWBC marketing collateral and materials. You will work with departmental leadership to formulate and implement business development strategies as well as a wide variety of projects in a fast-paced work environment. You will work with internal and external customers to develop sales collateral, advertising, product flyers, direct marketing and web campaigns for both direct-to-consumer and business-to-business channels. Your ability to combine creative thinking and strong communications skills with interpersonal and project management skills is the key to succeeding in this exciting role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Designs graphics, writes copy, edits, and oversees printing of marketing/communication materials.
Develops, executes, and manages marketing projects to communicate product and business Information to specified target audience.
Creates concepts for sales and marketing collateral, advertising, solicitations and special events.
Oversee the print production process for assigned projects, including print vendor relations, job specifications, obtaining competitive bids, scheduling, and attending press checks.
Identifies customer requirements and collaborates with customers to ensure an ongoing, comprehensive understanding of customer needs. To include: target market, growth goals, regulatory and compliance issues, market and industry trends, and budget/expense constraints.
Assists in public relations activities and special event marketing.
Monitors and evaluates marketing programs, budgets, production schedules, inventory, and supplier/vendor relationships.

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements: Must have a Bachelors degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related field, or have equivalent experience
Must have at least 3-5 years experience in design, advertising or related field.
Prior design and production experience mandatory.
Experience with developing applications for variable data and imaging.
Financial services/insurance/mortgage experience preferred
Must be proficient in Graphic Design software such as Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Quark Xpress.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Excel
Previous experience in a corporate marketing environment preferred
Must have strong marketing communications experience with exceptional copy writing and presentation skills
Must have exceptional time management and personal relationship skills
Project management experience preferred
