Global Macro Quant/Strategist

The Quantitative Strategies group of this Asset Management firm manages in excess of $18 billion through disciplined, quantitative investment processes. A PhD. is not required but helpful.

The client is looking for a Global Macro Quant/Strategist with strategies to come on board and build a group to support those strategies. The firm will provide all the resources necessary to succeed, including infrastructure, capital and staff, etc.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Quantitative Strategies Group seeks a highly trained (PhD-level training in finance/econometrics/statistics/electrical engineering/operations research/mathematics) analyst to contribute and research new investment strategies as well as refine current asset allocation strategies. This individual will be an integral part of the research/ portfolio team and will report to the director of research and head portfolio manager in the Quantitative Strategies Group. Exceptional computing skills, including PC skills like Excel (Macros) are mandatory. A background in statistical programming packages like Matlab or SPLUS or SAS will be helpful.

Base salary: $100,000 to $250,000

bonus potential: 100%++
