Foreclosure Specialist

Purpose:
On a day to day basis, this person will be responsible for conducting a complete review of the foreclosure file to ensure all default timeframes have been met prior to initiating foreclosure.

Other responsibilities include:

*Monitoring, tracking and diligently following up on all foreclosure proceedings on assigned cases by interacting and providing instructions between all parties involved with the foreclosure

*Ensuring the foreclosure & claims are processed in compliance with any and all guidelines established under the contract

*Inputting all updates that are provided by the attorney into the company and client computer systems as required

*Elevating any issues and concerns immediately to supervisor

*Completing reports timely and accurately

*Receiving and/or generating foreclosure sales report

*Retrieving foreclosure files

*Gathering necessary documents for file from attorney; gathering all ledgers/payment histories of record; following up with/ attorneys; assembling the claim package in accordance with investor/insurer, FHA, VA or conventional requirements

*Preparing & calculating claim figures

*Submitting claim to the appropriate investor/insurer

To be qualified for this position, individuals should have 1-2 years foreclosure or related experience. Individuals will also have to have thorough knowledge of foreclosure process, both judicial and non-judicial, good working knowledge of trust deeds, mortgages. Qualified candidates will gave strong customer service skills too.

This position also requires candidates to do a background and credit check. This position is not accessible by public transportation.
