Fixed Assets Manager

Purpose:
Leading area organization has a need to complete it's Accounting Management Team with an Accounting Manager responsible for the company's Fixed Assets. This position is one of 4 Accounting Managers who manage the accounting for the company and each specialize in one area. This position is responsible for directing the Company?s fixed asset capitalization process and overseeing the integrity and maintenance of all internal and external fixed asset book and tax reporting. These responsibilities include supervising three Fixed Asset Accountants and one Fixed Asset Assistant, overseeing the fixed asset capitalization process, verifying the accuracy of fixed asset activity and reporting. This position must ensure all capital additions are in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), sales tax regulations and income tax requirements. This position is the primary contact for all fixed asset inquiries.

Knowledge and experience at a level normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field plus 3- 5 years of experience with a Fixed Asset system, preferably Oracle. Working knowledge of GAAP and the accounting cycle. Three years supervisory experience desired. Proficient in Excel.Classification:Direct HireCompensation:
