Associate Analyst- Fixed Assets - Entry LevelMassey Energy Company, a publicly traded company on the New York Stock Exchange, is seeking an experienced Fixed Asset Analyst for its corporate office located in Richmond, VA.

Duties will include:
Coordinating all activities associated with the centralized fixed asset system.
Assisting the Finance Manager and Corporate Controller with general ledger maintenance and analysis.
Maintaining idle companies operations, including the preparation of ledgers for monthly closings and annual budget.Preparing monthly budget versus actual cost center reports.
Reviewing check run batches for appropriate support and approvals prior to check signing.

REQUIREMENTS
Associate Analyst- Fixed Assets - Entry LevelBachelor's degree
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
General understanding of bookkeeping and accounting procedures and concepts.
Excellent oral and written communications skills.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, present a professional image at all times, be self-motivated and have strong attention to detail, have the ability to effectively communicate with others at all levels, in and outside the company, and be well-organized.
