Financial Services Executive III

The Financial Services Executive 3 (FSE) proactively develops, maintains and supports
the sales of banking, investment and insurance products and services while also creating a friendly, professional atmosphere, resulting in a positive customer experience and long-term customer relationships.
Primary responsibilities include:
Business development, lead generation and follow-up.
Work with prospective and existing customers to assess financial needs. Identify and sell the appropriate Countrywide products and services based on those needs.
Complete transactions with customers directly or refer customers/prospective customers to affiliates.
Strengthen Bank-customer relationships.
Assist customers with opening accounts.
Support a positive and responsive climate for problem resolution, playing a key role in the stewardship of positive client relationships and customer retention.
Ensure compliance with regard to Company and regulatory requirements and guidelines.
Consistently support the commitment to compliance by adhering to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and the Countrywide Bank's policies and procedures and reporting all incidence of non-compliance to immediate manager.
Conduct a wide range of business development and sales activities including community-based networking, local area promotional campaigns, outbound telemarketing, and targeted direct marketing. Prompt follow-up on leads generated through company marketing and promotional programs, cross-division referrals and all other lead sources.
Prospect, qualify and profile new and existing customers to identify financial objectives and promote/sell Countrywide’s portfolio of financial services offerings including bank, insurance, and investment products.
Assist customers in completing transactions to minimize disconnect between account opening and funding of accounts. Provide prompt, responsive assistance with problems, accepting accountability for complete resolution to the satisfaction of the customer.
Manage and update the company's tracking systems and contact management databases to maximize sales productivity and ensure that sales and marketing programs are executed effectively.
A successful candidate will have:
An NASD Series 6 or 7 license, and Series 63 as well as an annuity license and state-specific insurance license. A cap of $100,000 per investable asset and be able to sell single premium life, fixed annuity, variable annuity, index annuity and a select group of mutual fund products.
Excellent sales skills with the ability to ask for the business and close. Strong business development skills preferred.
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in order to communicate with a wide variety of people.
Basic PC skills, including knowledge of Windows and the Internet, as well as a familiarity with sales tracking or customer contact software systems. Competent, experienced and comfortable in the use of technology.
Excellent time management and organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ideal incumbent is a self-motivated team player and individual contributor.
Knowledge of basic banking and banking products.
