First Horizon Home Loans, our mortgage division of our company is currently in 48 states and we are looking to expand the retail banking arm of our company into these established branches. For this reason, we are hiring top talented banking representatives as Financial Services Specialists to cross sell our CURRENT customers on our full range of banking products.

Financial Services Representative II - BANKING SALES

JOB SUMMARY
The Financial Services Representative will be responsible for fulfillment of banking products either through referral based leads or face to face interviews. In this role, the representative will support the Financial Services Manager and the cross-sell efforts of the region or branch by acting on referrals from Relationship Managers or other sources, and by cultivating prospects independently. The FSR will be responsible for contacting customers, opening accounts, and resolving customer service issues. FSRs will partner with specialty teams to identify prospects and proactively cross-sell customer relationships through telephone contacts, customer referrals, networking, building relationships in the community and in reactive sales situations. This role will pro-actively seek knowledge and mentorship from the Wealth Management team to work towards licensing.



JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Delivery
Process requests to open deposit products, ensuring data received is accurate and meets compliance standards. Actively identifies and refers prospects for Wealth Management and Business Related Services where applicable. Works with consumer lending, accepting applications, providing quotes, and processing closing documents.

Sales and Marketing Support / Teamwork
Supports Financial Services Manager by accepting new assignments as necessary and is positively open to changes in procedures. Remains aware of financial market trends. (e.g., general state of market, rates, consumer concerns) Demonstrates knowledge of and supports the . Develops and?role First Horizon plays in becoming All Things Financial maintains rapport with branch personnel, specialists, and support areas.

Customer Focus
Accepts ultimate responsibility for quality of fulfillment. Resolves customer problems promptly and reliably. Delivers on commitments. Demonstrates knowledge, confidence and enthusiasm for First Horizon products, services and specialists. Seeks First Horizon specialist expertise to supplement product and service recommendations as needed that will deliver greater customer value. Demonstrates understanding of the loyalty and profitability link by actively working to build customer value and retain profitable relationships. Uses creative problem solving in customizing products, features and combinations to deliver personalized service without sacrificing profitability.





JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Series 6 / 63 OR life/health insurance licensing.

Proficient understanding of the components of deposit products, credit products, business products, and alternative delivery operations.

Understanding of and ability to sell the benefits and refer Financial Planning, Investments, and Insurance products.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively as a team member.

Self motivated.

Results focused, delivers results on schedule with minimal errors.

Ability to prioritize tasks.

Ability to work under pressure.

Strong follow-up skills.

Excellent verbal (face to face and telephone) and written communication skills, interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Proficiency with PC based applications.

EDUCATION:

EXPERIENCE: 3-4 years experience in banking or similar financial services industries.

OTHER: Documented sales experience
