Financial Reporting & Control Manager

Primary Characteristics:
Prepare all management reporting for EverBank all consolidated affiliates. Manage the accounting functions required to provide timely and accurate financial reporting for the Portfolio Investment and Administration lines of business.
Essential Functions:
Board reporting
Management Book preparation and reporting
Assist with year-end audit
Administration Month End variance analysis & reporting:
EverBank L.P., AMC Acquisition, Administration Allocations, leases, and marketing allocations.
Portfolio Investment Month end variance analysis and reporting.
Premium/Discount roll-forward
FAS91 accounting for production areas
Monitor, review account reconciliations.
Maintain methodology to age outstanding reconciling items and produce monthly executive summary reports.
Assist outside departments in reconciliation training and development of corrective action plans.
Cash Flow statement
Responsible for Transfer-pricing reporting (All Divisions)
Quarterly Assurance Reviews and Risk Assessment
Develop & Implement Sarbanes Oxley controls related to financials statements.
Inter-company settlements
Recommend / Implement improvements to existing controls, polices and procedures
Coordinate/complete ad hoc reporting as requested
Minimum Qualifications: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Strong spreadsheet/analytical skills
Knowledge of GAAP, RAP and SEC reporting
Good written and verbal communication skills
Self-starter, ability to multi-task; ability to meet deadlines
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize work requirements and allocated resources accordingly Detail oriented
Ability to interface with all levels of management
Training and Experience: Describe
Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance; MBA/CPA preferred.
Minimum 6-8 years of mortgage/banking experience or 4-6 years Big 5 accounting firm with banking experience; experience with bank regulatory filings, SEC filing requirements, shareholder reporting
